A very violet-tinged blue ink. I was disappointed in its performance, and, honestly, on general principle because J. Herbin didn’t give this ink the gorgeous sheen that has drawn so many faithful to Rouge Hematite, it’s blood red sister ink.

The Five Cat PENagerie 
It is an interesting colour ink but not one I would ever have associated with the ocean. It appears compliment the Rhodia grid lines quite well. Works for me as a purple/violet but not a blue.
